Love Flourishes

Timeless memories,

shared hopes for our tomorrows,

we live in the now.

Our energy wanes.

Wit is replaced by wisdom.

Our love flourishes.

Love lights the twilight.

In winter’s chill, we are warmed

by each other’s gaze.

Happy New Year!

❤ ❤ ❤

After six happy years together, we are making it official. We plan to be married in 2021 after the pandemic ends, probably late summer.

We wish you all the joys of the season and a peaceful and prosperous 2021. May love light your life and warm your heart! ❤ ❤ ❤

      1. Dear Cheryl, you are embarrassing me. You write such brilliant and endearing comments everytime. I write two simple words. Please know that your poem meant a lot more to me than those two words.

  1. Michel, I am so pleased that you like the poem! 🙂 I agree with you that hearts don’t age. You and Jeanine seem to be a perfect example of that! Many more years of happiness to you! 2021 promises to be a much better year. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Cindy, for your kind words! Glad you like the poem. 🙂 Your taking the time to read and comment means a lot to me. ❤

Our tentative plans are a simple wedding by a notary or justice of the peace. Our families are small and live far away, so we don't get to spend time with them often. We plan to invite family groups to stay with us for a few days at their convenience. We plan to take each small group out to dinner to celebrate, so we will have several small celebrations rather than one huge one. More quality time and less exhaustion. Does this plan sound crazy to you?

What are your holiday plans? Take care, Cindy

      1. Oh it is always my pleasure to take part in your joy and happiness!!! Loved your poem for sure!
That sounds like a lovely idea to spread out the fun with intimate groups and conversation! That would be my vote as well!!! It keeps the stress down and everyone safe.
        It’s wild right now.
Everyone is being tested and quarantined including my son who is living with us. He just came up negative and each of our kids have as well. They are bound and determined to be together so are following strict guidelines, so hopefully we will all be home together. Planning things like making candles, Zooming with grandparents etc.
we will get through this!!! 💕
        Hugs!
