Life Goes By

Life Goes By

We experience life,

soaring

to heights of ecstacy,

plunging

into depths of despair.

Mostly,

we live the humdrum days…

all the in-between days.

Days laughing, days crying.

Most days,

sighing, as life goes by.

Days pass,

whether or not we are

mindful,

like the blink of an eye,

the twinkle of a star.

  Happy New Year,

2024!

Thank you to all of my WordPress friends for the wonderful posts you have shared this year. Reading what you have written and enjoying what you have created has enhanced my life. Thank you for reading and commenting on my work this year. Your support means so much to me!

A special thank-you to those who wrote interviews and reviews of Earthly Days and those who bought my books. I am grateful for the WordPress community, a place where we encourage and support each other.

May peace and harmony come to our troubled world. May brotherhood replace anger and conflict. Where there is destruction, may people work together to rebuild. May we find the will to heal and restore the Earth, our home.

I wish all of my WordPress friends love, health, happiness, and success in 2024. May all of your dreams come true!

Warm Wishes,

Cheryl

Hello, Bobcat. Thank you for visiting and commenting. on my blog. You responded to a comment from someone else, and that is why I was unable to answer.

We are having crazy, unpredictable weather here. This is our dry season, but the weather is warm and rainy this year, and the grass is still green.

        Wishing you a very Happy 2024! 🥴

PS Is that a wild bobcat in your photo? Very beautiful! We occasionally see bobcats in our neighborhood.

Cheryl, your poem beautifully captures the ebb and flow of life. The contrasts between ecstasy and despair, laughter and tears, resonate deeply. The imagery of soaring and plunging is vivid, and the reminder to be mindful in the passage of time is both poignant and relatable.

Yes, so true and wise. Life shall always be like that only, but important is whether we remained thoughtful and applied our conscience or not through it. Lovely lines, Cheryl. Wish you a healthy, successful and joyous new year 2024.

Cheryl, wishing you a New Year filled with love, light and laughter! Your poem captures the essence of life, its fleeting moments, our near incomprehension as the days, months, years fly by. So true about the swings of emotions and the hum-drum is a comforting zone for many. Happy New Year! hugs, Annika xx

Thank you for the wonderful blessings! Time sure does go by….. like the blink of an eye, the twinkle of a star. < love that line. I often find myself singing, Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin…… May the new year be good to you and teach us all peace, as kindly as possible.

I appreciate your lovely response, JoAnna! I hope peace can be learned. Experience should teach us the evils of war and violence which confronts us daily in the media. Thank you for your good wishes. ❤ Wishing you the blessings of health, happiness, and peace in 2024.

Kate, I hope to be more active online soon. After a year of debilitating headaches, the ENT, the MRI, trying Imirex, nsaids, B2…waiting months for the appointment, I will be seeing a neurologist next week. I have also been dealing with publishing issues and hope for positive outcomes.

Thank you, Kate, for caring. I have continued to enjoy your posts. ❤️ 🩵 💙 ❤️
