Good Intentions for 2021
I will
find a balance,
time for important things:
work, play, health, creativity,
romance.
I will
simplify life,
streamline daily routines,
minimize material things,
relax.

Looking forward to 2021, I think the situation looks very fluid. We will need goals, but even more, we will need to be flexible. I usually make New Year’s resolutions; this year, I have settled for good intentions! 🙂
These sound like very good intentions, but also good that they are not set in stone! Wishing you all the best for the New Year ❤️

Thank you, Ingrid, for your thoughtful response and good wishes. ❤ I feel like we will be responding to a lot of changes in 2021, so I didn't want anything "set in stone." 🙂 Take care!

You are definitely on to something, Cheryl. I did de-clatter a week ago, and decided to be less materialistic as possible, especially when even the Salvation Army near me refused to take any donations. I accompanied my mother-in-law to Target for her Christmas Candy and was shocked at the amount of STUFF! stuff that we could use without, but it was there in abundance. The heartbreaking thing is that most of it ends up as trash anyway, and for what?
It is nice to read from you again!

Thank you, Angela, for sharing your thoughts. It is nice to hear from you. 🙂 I didn’t venture out to do any shopping…too many unmasked idiots out there! I did some online shopping. My daughters are hitting the after- Christmas sales. It will be interesting what they find in Texas.
It’s incredible that the Salvation Army refused donations! Are their shelters closed due to the Pandemic? I have been gradually getting rid of unused possessions. As you get older, I think you need to make home maintenance easier.
I hope school is going well. ❤ Happy New Year…health, happiness, and success!

What a lovely note this is, Cheryl, thank you. Online shopping is the smart thing to do really. Yes, they probably closed down to the pandemic, but it woke me up. Same with the library, they will not take any book donations, but I guess it’s understandable.
I am on a school break, but it is going to be easier from now on till July.
It’s always easier with less stuff, honestly, and good for you. I hope the New Year brings you much joy! I will look out for what you write next. 🙂

Cindy, I usually do make resolutions and had given it a lot of thought. It just didn’t seem workable this year. If we can remain flexible and rise to the challenges of the inevitable unpredictable events, I think we’ll be better off. Time will tell! 🙂
Thank you for your kind comments. Your support is deeply appreciated! ❤ ❤ ❤ I have high hopes for a better 2021! Stay safe and happy, and continue to spread good cheer as you always do! 🙂
