Turkeys’ Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day we gather,

turkeys of many feathers.

Together we celebrate

not being on someone’s plate.

Whatever our race or creed,

Thankful hearts are all we need.

I am going to be off the blog celebrating the holidays. The holiday gift I want most is a world at peace. Let’s hope 2026 will be peaceful. See you in the New Year!

Thank you, Ingrid. It was enjoyable, just the two of us and a quiet dinner at home. I made chicken with Robert’s favorite cornbread dressing and my favorite cranberry gelatin salad.

      Have a great weekend! 🌼🌺🦋🌸

I second this prayer. Still waiting for peace to find its way into every corner of the globe: not one child left wondering or crying. Peace for all regardless of creed. Please.
