Flowers from Robert and Robert’s hat on my dining table soon after we met.

Some photos retain their magic,

their power to evoke memories

and affections awakened

some time ago.

Robert, I never thought

I would love a man

who wore his hat indoors

or went to bed with his socks on.

This photo reminds me

how quickly I changed my mind

when I met you!

Maybe it was the flowers…

and a thousand other things!

I’ll love you always.

Cheryl, this is absolutely beautiful. The way you capture a lifetime of love—the small, unexpected details and the ‘thousand other things’—is pure poetry. Robert is a lucky man to be seen and loved so completely.

Thanks, Cheryl. Along with teaching I was busy taking care of my nanogenarian mother in law.
It’s great to hear about your big writing projects, keep the momentum up. Wishing you health and happiness and a very good weekend. ❤

Thank you, Cindy. Glad you like the poem. Your kind words mean a great deal to me. 💕💕 💕

Please forgive me for not being present as much of the time. I will try to do better. Robert and I are putting most of our energy and efforts into dealing with multiple health issues.

The long-term projects I have been working on show some promise. I hope that things turn out well, and I will be able to share positive outcomes on WordPress.

Thank you for the love and concern you share with everyone you know. I appreciate you! 💐

You’re so very welcome, Cheryl. I keep meaning to email you but alas… you know.
Forgiveness is never needed. I’m just glad you and Robert are there for each other and are so supportive. Life sure has it’s own agenda.. sigh.
All in good time. Take it little by little and it will come into fruition, I’m certain.
You’re so very welcome. You are important to me too and make a difference and I’m grateful for your words, truly. Hugs and love❣️💕❤️
